Armenian champion "Bank King" won over Aquaprofit 4.5:1.5 at the second
round of the European Chess Championship, held in Istanbul. Tigran
Petrosyan, Artashes Minasyan and Ashot Anastasyan stood out among
the Armenian players. Karen Asryan, Smbat Lputyan and Rafael Vahanyan
gained 0.5 points each.

At the third round "Bank King" will compete with "Sarayevo." The
Bosnian team is comprised of outstanding GMs Vasili Ivanchuk (Ukraine),
Sergey Movsisyan (Slovakia), and many others.

Russian "Ural" beat "Shahut" 6:0. "Ural" is currently leading the
fixture table. "Bank King" takes the 4 place with 10 points.

Armenian women’s team "Mika" beat Turkish "Antalia Denis" 3:1. Elina
Danielyan, Nino Kurtsidze and Lilit Lazarian gained one points
each. Presently, Mika takes the 4th place with 6.5 points.

Mika’s next competitor will be Ural.
