ADMINISTRATIVE VIOLATIONS RAISE 4 MILLION, 95 THOUSAND DRAM

This month the "Yerevantrans" company and street police registered
405 cases of transportation van drivers smoking. Karen Yedigaryan,
director of ‘Yerevantrans," noted this at an interview today. An amount
of 25 thousand dram was levied on 365 drivers, and 50 thousand dram
on 34 drivers.
Yedigaryan also said that 1,000 drivers were fined 20 thousand dram
for various violations in bus stops.
Besides that, 65 drivers were fined 3,000 dram for other violations in
bus stop areas. For not parking properly in bus stops, 40 drivers were
fined 10 thousand dram. For not stopping in designated bus stop areas,
150 drivers were fined 10,000 dram. For these various violations,
fines levied reached a total of 4 million 95 thousand dram. The
director also informed that for not maintaining sanitary vehicles,
113 drivers were fined 3,000 dram each.
