/PanARMENIAN.Net/ Independent Kurdish state does exist, historian
Haykazun Alvrtsyan told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter.

Existence of independent Kurdish state will result in Turkey’s decline,
according to him. "U.S. efforts will have no success. Turkey will
launch a war that will end in Iraq’s federalization. But it’s not all.

National and religious issues will blow up Turkey because other ethnic
communities suffering from Ankara’s yoke will follow Kurds," he said.

Turkey’s Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said he came out of his
private meeting with U.S. President George W. Bush reassured about
prospects for Turkey’s showdown with Kurdish rebels. He said he
doesn’t believe that the cross-border operation will "cause troubles."

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
