IRANIAN DEFENCE MINISTER MEETS ARMENIAN PRESIDENT

Tehran, 8 November: On the third day of his visit to Armenia, Iran’s
Defence Minister Mosatfa Mohammad-Najjar met the Armenian President.

According to a report by Fars News Agency quoting the Ministry of
Defence Propagation Office, in this meeting Robert Kocharyan expressed
satisfaction over the recent trip by the Iranian president and defence
minister and hoped that this trip will bear fruitful results.

Announcing his support for the agreements made between Iran and
Armenia, he stressed the need to implement these agreements as
reflected in the joint statement signed by the presidents of the
two countries.
