YEREVAN, November 14. /ARKA/. RA Foreign Minister Vardan Oskanyan
believes that the American Chamber of Commerce in Armenia (AmCham)
can contribute to the introduction of corporate management culture
in Armenia.
"Armenia’s economic entities must learn confidence, inviting skilled
managers and attracting necessary capital for expanding their
activities. The American Chamber of Commerce in Armenia and its
members can contribute to this by introducing corporate management
culture in the country," Oskanyan said at his meeting with AmCham
representatives in Yerevan.
According to him, Armenia must make great efforts to present to the
world its business legislation, skilled labor force and a low number
of failed foreign businesses.
The American Chamber of Commerce in Armenia (AmCham) is a non-profit
business association dedicated to improving the Armenian business and
investment climate and serving the needs of its members. AmCham was
established in 2000 and currently represents over 75 businesses in
Armenia which are either owned or co-owned by U.S. citizens and/or
conduct substantial business activities with the United States.
