The North-South highway is built on the money raised through
telethons. The greater part of the motorway is already in use,
several sections are still under construction but we have learned
that roadwork was stopped, and no work has been done on some parts
of the road at all.
In answer to our question what will be done about the road, NKR
President Bako Sahakyan said work will continue, and there are no
hindrances to it. He also added that the government will control not
only the schedule but also the quality of roadwork.
