PARLIAMENTARY HEARINGS ON PROBLEMS AND PERSPECTIVES OF ARMENIAN-TURKISH RELATIONS

The Standing Committee on Foreign Relations of the National Assembly
of the Republic of Armenia will organize parliamentary hearings on
"Armenian-Turkish Relations: Problems and Perspectives."

The hearings aim at understanding through broad discussions the reasons
for the current crisis in Armenian-Turkish relations, assessing the
nature of the existing problems and specifying the opportunities
and mechanisms of parliamentary diplomacy in the settlement of those
relations.

The parliamentary hearings will be held on 19-20 December 2007.

Representatives and experts of all concerned political and public
organizations, political research centers are expected to take part
in the parliamentary hearings.
