State Budgetary Revenues Grow By 31.1%, Expenditures By 24.1% In Jan

STATE BUDGETARY REVENUES GROW BY 31.1%, EXPENDITURES BY 24.1% IN JANUARY-NOVEMBER 2007 ON SAME PERIOD OF PREVIOUS YEAR

YEREVAN, JANUARY 10, NOYAN TAPAN. The revenues and official transfers
of the RA state budget made 509 bln 371.8 mln drams (about 1 bln
474.2 mln USD) in January-November 2007, growing by 32.1% on the
same period of the previous year. Tax revenues amounted to 434 bln
155.25 mln drams (their ratio to GDP made 16%), increasing by 35.8%
on the same period of 2006.

According to preliminary data transferred by the RA ministry of
finance and economy to the RA National Statistical Service, the
expenditures of the RA state budget amounted to 486 bln 58.4 mln
drams in January-November 2007, growing by 24.1% on the same months
of the previous year. The surplus of the state budget made 23 bln
313.4 mln drams.
