Appeal on Azerbaijani officer Ramil Safarov to be considered tomorrow

Court hearing on the appeal on the decision November 17, 2006 of
Budapest Court due to the incident occurred between wardens and
officer of Azerbaijani Army Ramil Safarov who was sentenced to life
imprisonment for assassinating Armenian lieutenant Gurgen Markarian
will be held tomorrow, Azerbaijani Embassy in Hungary told APA.

The process will start at 9.00 by Budapest time (12.00 by Baku time).
Officials of the Embassy will also participate in the process.
Hungarian lawyer Clara Fisher will protect Ramil Safarov’s rights in
the process.
Head of Defense Ministry press service Eldar Sabiroglu told APA that
the Ministry focuses court hearing of Azerbaijani officer.
Azerbaijani Army officer Ramil Safarov was sentenced to life
imprisonment for murdering Armenian officer Gurgen Margarian at the
decision April 13, 2006 of Budapest Court. Budapest Court upheld the
life sentence to Azerbaijani Army officer Ramil Safarov. /APA/
