Armenian ex-president visits Yerablur Memorial with his supporters

ArmInfo. On January 28, the National Army Day, Levon Ter-Petrosyan, the
first president of Armenia and currently a presidential contender,
visited the Yerablur Memorial devoted to fallen heroes with about 1000
of his supporters.

Levon Ter-Petrosyan, as well as the leaders of political parties and
NGOs supporting him laid flowers at the memorial devoted to the
Karabakh war heroes and at the grave of Prime Minister Vazgen Sargsyan
murdered during the act of terrorism on October 27, 1999.

Aram Sargsyan, the brother of Vazgen Sargsyan, chairman of the
Political Council of the oppositional Republic Party, congratulated the
participants on the National Army Day and called "Levon Ter-
Petrosyan’s forthcoming victory at the presidential election a victory
of the country’s army, too".
