RUSSIAN MINISTER SEES FERRY LINK RUNNING ALONG ENTIRE BLACK SEA COAST

Russia, Ukraine, Georgia, Armenia and Turkey plan to establish a
ferry link running along the Black Sea’s entire coast, Transportation
Minister Igor Levitin told reporters Wednesday.

The project is called the Black Sea Ring, he said.

At present, ferry links exists between Russia’s Kavkaz port, Ukraine’s
Kerch port and Georgia’s Poti port, Levitin said. He added that
additional ferry links to Bulgaria’s Varna port and Turkey’s Istanbul
port would be established in 2010-2015.
