YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 22, NOYAN TAPAN. The students participating in the

supporters organized a procession to the office of the RA prosecutor
general. The procession of thousands of people was headed by Nikol
Pashinian, member of the central headquarters of L. Ter-Petrosian. In
front of the building of the RA prosecutor general’s office, he
presented the demands of the procession participants: to punish those
guilty of election rigging and violence, in particular, the "whelps of
"Mkhchian Mouse", "Nemets Rubo" and the others with nicknames.

Then the procession made its way along Nalbandian and Tumanian Streets,
during which N. Pashinian regularly announced by a loud hailer that the
deputy prosecutor general of Armenia Gagik Jhangirian has joined the
movement led by Levon Ter-Petrosian and that G. Jhangirian has promised
to disclose the October 27 assassination after L. Ter-Petrosian becomes
the president. "Hundreds of policemen and national security officers
will join our movement soon," N. Pashinian declared.

The students – rally participants chanted "Levon is President",
"Victory", "Serzhik, Go Away". The procession ended in Freedom Square.

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
