THREE COMPANIES TO REPRESENT ARMENIA AT "CEBIT 2008"

YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 27, NOYAN TAPAN. Sorsio, T-X Systems and ACT
companies will represent Armenia at "CeBIT 2008" traditional
international exhibition of information, communication and high
technologies in Hannover (Germany) on Match 4-9, NT correspondent was
informed by Mane Manasian, head of the press service of the Union of
IT Enterprises (UITE).

She said that the achievements of the indicated sectors Armenia
will also be represented at the exhibition by representatives of the
UITE and the RA ministry of trade and economic development. Armenia
participates in "CeBIT 2008" with the assistance of the RA government,
UITE, USAID’s Education Development Program.

According to M. Manasian, Armenia has participated in CeBIT since
2000. As in 2007, this year the Armenian pavilion will occupy an area
of 15 sq.m. 6 Armenian companies took part in "CeBIT 2007".

It was mentioned that CeBIT has been held since 1996 and is one of
the biggest international exhitions of information, communication and
high technologies. The exhibition’s pavilions occupy a total area of
1 mln sq.m.

In 2007, the number of its visitors made 380 thousand.
