Azerbaijan, Baku, 29 February / cor. TrendNews S. Agayeva/ The
religious leader of Muslims in Caucasus Sheik-ul-Islam Allahshukur
Pashazadeh condemned the deployment of armed forces of Kurd Labour
Party in Azerbaijani territories occupied by Armenia.
"We should oppose it and not let the establishment of a new Kurd
Labour Party in the occupied Nagorno-Karabakh," Pashazadeh said to
journalists on 29 February. As these territories are not under control
of Azerbaijan, it is quite possible to deploy the bases of the Kurd
Labour Party there, he said.
According to the local and foreign media, the military bases of the
Kurd Labour Party are being deployed in the occupied land of Azerbaijan
including Nagorno-Karabakh and Armenia to support the deployment.
" Armenia is resorting to any means including the armed forces of the
Kurd Labour Party to maintain tension in the region," Sheik-ul-Islam
said. He recently discussed the current issue with Rejeb Tayyip
Ardogan, the prime minister of Turkey.
