Yerevan /Mediamax/. Elected Armenian President, Prime Minister Serzh
Sarkisian stated today that "it is necessary to get involved in a
dialogue, even if the interlocutor is blinded by hatred".

Mediamax reports that Serzh Sarkisian said this at the session of
the government today. Commenting on the events, which took place on
March 1-2 in Yerevan, Prime Minister stated:

"Happened what we were talking about for months, but what we did not
manage to prevent. And if we did not manage to prevent such development
of events, we are also guilty. But I do not want to talk about the
guilty today, I want to talk about elimination of the consequences
of the catastrophe, since besides the human losses (which could be
larger, if the corresponding measures were not taken), we also bore
material and moral losses, related to security and the international
authority of our country", Prime Minister Serzh Sarkisian stated.

According to him, material losses are easy to be compensated.

"What concerns the second, anger increased in the society, the
society is split into two parts, and I expect your active work in
that direction. It is necessary to get involved in a dialogue, it
is necessary to argue, explain, even if the interlocutor does not
understand, even if he is blinded by hatred", Serzh Sarkisian stated,
addressing the members of the government.

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
