AVERAGE PRICE FOR 1 SQ.M. IN APARTMENT BLOCKS OVER 257,000 DRAMS IN YEREVAN IN 2007

YEREVAN, March 19. /ARKA/. The average market price for one square
meter of housing in multi-apartment blocks in Yerevan was 257,100
Drams in January-December 2007 against 196,700 Drams in 2006, says
the annual report of Armenia’s National Statistical Service.
According to the statistical information, the highest prices for
apartments were recorded in the center of Yerevan, in Kentron community
– 448,300 Drams per sq. m, and the lowest prices were recorded in
the suburbs, in Nubarashen community – 125,900 Drams.
Price for 1 sq. m of housing in apartment blocks was 360,300 Drams
in Arabkir community, 266,600 Drams in Kanaker-Zeytun, 229,300 Drams
in Nor Nork, 220,500 Drams in Avan, 227,300 in Erebuni, 241,700 Drams
in Shengavit, 250,100 Drams in Davidashen, 234,600 Drams in Ajapniak
and 223,400 Drams in Malatia-Sebastia. ($1=309.15Drams).
