ANTILIAS, MARCH 27, ARMENIANS TODAY – NOYAN TAPAN. On the occasion
of the Resurrection festival His Holiness of the Great Cilician House
Catholicos Aram I has received congratulatory visits since March 23,
as well as has exchanged congratulatory messages by telephone with
religious, state and diplomatic people and other officials.
As they report from the Mother Church of Antilias, His Holiness
Patriarch has received congratulations from the state officials of
Lebanon. Prime Minister Fuad Siniora congratulated Catholicos Aram
I during their conversation on the occasion of the St. Resurrection
festival and introduced to him the current state of Lebanon, as well
as spoke about his efforts in this direction and about the recent
political developments.
Catholicos Aram I has also had a telephone conversation with Robert
Kocharian, the current President of the Republic of Armenia, as well
as with Serge Sargsian, the newly-elect President and Prime Minister
of Armenia, exchanging congratulatory good wishes on the occasion of
the St. Resurrection festival.
