"Azerbaijan’s intention to change the format of the OSCE Minsk Group is
an attempt of international isolation of Armenia", political scientist
Manvel Sarkisyan said.
"Azerbaijan is trying to transfer the Karabakh issue from the OSCE
Minsk Group to other international organizations, thus creating a
varying atmosphere there and attempting to attain the international
isolation of Armenia", Sarkissyan noted.
At the same time, Armenian political scientist noted that the Minsk
Group is more global mechanism than the negotiation process as it
was able to ensure peace in the region.
Sarkissyan also noted that Minsk Group is a powerful strategic
mechanism, which is proven by Azerbaijan’s attempts to change its
composition.
"Thus, Azerbaijan tries to change the international atmosphere,
which may lead to the failure of the negotiation process and loss of
Armenia’s influence", Sarkissyan announced.
