LEGAL ACTION BY GIBRAHAYER E-MAGAZINE AGAINST THE ELECTION TEAM OF TASSOS PAPADOPOULOS

sources: – Chief Editor of a popular e-magazine Gibrahayer (translating
in Greek as "Armenian Cypriots") Simon Aynedjian has disclosed that
he will be taking legal action against the Election Team of Tassos
Papadopoulos for using the campaign slogan Epilogi Empistosinis.
Aynedjian disclosed that the slogan Epilogi Empistosinis was suggested
by himself while involved in the Campaign Team of the now Armenian
MP Vartkes Mahdessian.
"Have we run out of ideas?" Aynedjian asked fellow journalists after an
event in Nicosia. "It is sad to think that high profile, highly paid
political marketeers, who are paid mega bucks to think of innovative
ideas and slogans for campaigns, would resort to simple plagiarism."
"Vartkes Mahdessian’s campaign slogan was simply recycled and sold
as new for the then President and we are moving legally to simply
put things in order." Aynedjian concluded.
