ArmInfo. ‘I am sure the program Millennium Challenge will be
continued in Armenia’, Head of Parliamentary Commission of Financial
and Budgetary Affairs, a member of the Republican Party of Armenia
Gagik Minasyan said at Mirror Club Wednesday.
He said it is of extreme importance to the USA to have such a
sustainable partner in the South Caucasus as Armenia. On the
other hand, it is of extreme importance also to Armenia to have
good relations with the USA, which corresponds to the policy of
complementarity. ‘This cooperation will develop’, G. Minasyan said.
To recall, after 1 March unrest in Yerevan, Millennium Challenge
Corporation Director General John Danilovich warned President Robert
Kocharyan of possible suspension of the program.
