LEVON ARONIAN TO TAKE PART IN INTERNATIONAL EVENTS UNDER TITLE CHESS
GIANTS TO BE HELD ON JUNE 8-15 IN YEREVAN
YEREVAN, MAY 30, NOYAN TAPAN. Levon Aronian, champion of World Chess
Olympiad, well-known grand master, is in Yerevan. The latter will take
part in international events under the title Chess Giants to be held on
June 8-15 in Yerevan. Leading world chess players will also take part
in the events.
"Every time I come to Armenia with love. My friends, relatives, many
talented people live there," L. Aronian said in his interview to Noyan
Tapan correspondent. According to him, every time coming to Armenia he
is filled with enthusiasm, energy, which, in L. Aronian’s words, leads
him to new and new victories.
Yerevan is also becoming more and more beautiful day by day in
chess-player’s eyes. "Changes are noticeable in Yerevan and everything
is getting better. I feel pride when I see that we succeed and have
achievements in all spheres," L. Aronian said.
