HOMAGE TO ANDRANIK MARGARYAN’S MEMORY

Members of RA Government led by Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan visited
Komitas Pantheon to pay homage to the memory of ex-Prime Minister,
President of the Republican Party of Armenian Andranik Margaryan on
the occasion of his 57th birthday.

RA President, his party affiliates and his family will also visit
Komitas Pantheon today.

Andranik Margaryan died of heart attack on March 25, 2007 at the age
of 56.

In 1995 Andranik Margaryan was elected to the Parliament of first
convocation. In 1999 he was elected to the National Assembly and
headed the "Unity" faction. In the year 2000 he was appointed RA
Prime Minister. After the parliamentary elections of 2003 he headed
the coalition government.
