The close relationship between Armenia and Georgia does not mean that
those two countries can not have separate national interests. "Though
Armenia is more intended to occupy neutral position in the affairs of
Osetia and Abkhazia, the countries which wish to declare independence
are precedent cases for NKR," said politician Sergey Minasyan.
To the politician the problem with destroying Armenian churches in
Georgia are not "problematic". Both Armenia and Georgia are aware of
smoothening the points; otherwise the inter-state relationship and
regional security will appear under threat.
As for the membership of Georgia to NATO, he said that much depends
on the relationship of West, NATO and Russia and not simply on the
changing Georgian standards.
