ACCORDING TO SERZH SARGSYAN, ARMENIAN COMMUNITY OF INDIA IS OF MUCH IMPORTANCE IN DEVELOPMENT OF ARMENIAN-INDIAN RELATIONS

RA President Serzh Sargsyan, on July 11, receiving Reena Pandey, the
Ambassador of India to Armenia, emphasized with satisfaction the high
level of the two countries’ political relations and rather efficient
cooperation at international instances. Attaching much importance
to the Indian Armenian community in development of Armenian-Indian
relations, the President said that it has a rich history, and many
Armenian educational and cultural monuments have been created in India.
According to the report provided to Noyan Tapan by the RA President’s
Press Office, touching upon bilateral economic contacts, the
interlocutors stated that there are already successful examples of
Indian business circle’s investments in Armenia. At the same time,
they attached importance to more complete use of economic potential
and possibilities. Cooperation in the spheres of science and education
was also spoken about.
