‘COMSTAR-United TeleSystems’ built WIMAX network in Armenia

Moscow"Comstar – United TeleSystems", the biggest operator of
integrated telecommunication services in Russia and the CIS has
declared CJSC "Cornet – AM", subsidiary company of "Comstar – UTS"
finished the first stage of construction of wireless communication
nertwork on the basis of "mobile WiMAX" technology, press-release of
the company says.

Wireless network supposes giving wide specter of telecommunication
services to legal and natural persons, including data transference,
digital telephony, high-speed access to Internet, organization of
corporative networks (IP VPN), etc. "We have implemented the first
stage of the strategic project on development of wide-scaled presence
of "COMSTAR- UTS" in Armenia. Development of the VoIP service in the
country will be the next step". – vice-president on regional
development of "COMSTAR-UTS" Viktor Koresh said.

To note, "COMSTAR-UTS" id one of the biggest communication operators in
Moscow. It gives telecommunication services in five regions of Russia
as well as in Armenia and Ukraine.
