Water pass volume from the lake Sevan will be increased up to 170 mln
sq.m. for irrigation, such a decision was made at today’s sitting of
the government. As chairman of Armenian State Water Committee Andranik
Andreasyan said, such a decision is stemming from the necessity of
provision of non-stop irrigation of agriculture lands which are in
the irrigation zone of Sevan-Razdan system. He also said that as of
27 June of the current year water pass volume amounted to 108 mln sq.m.
