YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 18, NOYAN TAPAN. Iranian photographer Afshin
Aryafar’s exhibition under the title "My Armenia" opened on September
18 at the HayArt cultural center. 56 out of about 2000 photographs
of Aryafar dedicated to Armenia are presented.

A. Aryafar said that Armenian historic and cultural monuments,
architecture, and nature were source of inspiration for him. According
to him, though Armenian and Persian cultures are different, there
are many common things.

"That is why Iranians have always admired Armenian culture. Iranians
have a unique devotion to the Armenian people and Armenian culure,"
A. Aryafar said. He also said that photographs taken in Armenia made
a great impression in Iran.

"A. Aryafar’s photographs seem to have been taken with eyes of an
Armenian.

We are grateful that Armenia’s nature, culture, and life attract
foreigners and even are a source of inspiration," Rita Sharoyan,
the Director of the HayArt cultural center, said.
