Although the number of patients with intestinal disease has gone
up in Gyumri’s infectious and antituberculous hospital, no epidemic
outburst has been reported in the city. Presently 17 patients, ten
adults and seven children, are under treatment. 16 of them suffer
from intestinal disease and one from acute viral hepatitis.
Every year in the result of abrupt weather changes the number of viral
and infectious diseases goes up in the city, particularly in autumn
and spring. People begin to cough, suffer from splitting headache
and high temperature. It is difficult to draw a clear view of the
disease as such patients, as a rule, don’t see doctors.
