BELGOSPISHPROM TO COOPERATE WITH ARMENIAN ENTERPRISES ARMENIA, BELGOSPISHPROM

YEREVAN, November 13. /ARKA/. The Belgospishprom Byelorussian State
Concern of Food Industry intends to establish mutually beneficial
cooperation with Armenian industries, said Anatoliy Yemelyanov,
the Belgospishprom deputy head of a department on alcohol, fruit and
vegetable, starch and treacly industry.
Belgospishprom Concern was established in 2000 and is acting as
the body for state management of food industry in the Republic of
Byelorussia.
"We came to Armenia to develop projects on mutually beneficial
cooperation," said Yemelyanov.
A wine and a milk factory, two meat processing factories, two
confectioneries as well as six alcoholic beverage factories represent
Belgospishprom on Armprodexpo-2008, the 8th international food
exposition in Yerevan Nov 11-14.
According to Yemelyanov the reps of the concern consider in the first
place a possibility to purchase brandy and raw materials for brandy
in Armenia.
"We can finish off the brandy in Belarus, specifically under the
guidance of Armenian specialists," he said.
He also expressed readiness to consider issues of exporting Armenian
champagne to Belarus.
Yemelyanov stressed the concern produces a wide range of foodstuff
and has great facilities of delivery.
"We currently have a preliminary agreement to visit a number of
Armenian alcoholic beverages industries," he=2 0said and noted final
agreements have been made to visit Yerevan Champagne Wine Factory,
Ararat Yerevan Brandy Company and Yerevan Ararat Brandy-Wine-Vodka
Factory.
Belgospishprom is aimed to create favourable conditions for increasing
resources of food and agricultural raw materials, improve the supply
of foodstuff to Byelorussian population, creating a united economic,
technical and technological policy in arranging the food industry in
the Republic of Byelarus, etc.
The concern includes 50 organizations and 31 joint-stocks, specifically
in the sectors of sugar, confectionery, fat-and-oil, alcoholic
beverages, spirit, wine, brewery, packing, milk, tobacco and salt.
