YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 17, NOYAN TAPAN. There cannot be an agreement
on settlement of the Karabakh conflict without the consent of the
Karabakh people, Matthew Bryza, the U.S. Co-Chair of the OSCE Minsk
Group, told the correspondent of Armenia’s Public Television Company
in Stepanakert. The Russian Co-Chair of the OSCE Minsk Group Yuri
Merzlyakov in his turn added that "moreover, there cannot be an
agreement without its preparation with the participation of Nagorno
Karabakh’s representative". According to the French Co-Chair Bernard
Fassier, they pay regular visits to Karabakh and it bears evidence
of the fact that the Karabakh side participates in negotiations.
