STEPANAKERT, 17.11.08. On November 15 NKR President Bako Sahakian
received co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk group Matthew Bryza (USA),
Yuri Merzlyakov (Russia), Bernard Fassier (France) and accompanying
them functionaries.

According to the information DE FACTO received at the Central
Information Department of the Office of the NKR President, a wide range
of issues related to the Nagorno Karabagh conflict settlement had been
discussed at the meeting. Special attention was paid to the Moscow
declaration signed by Armenian, Azerbaijani and Russian presidents.

Bako Sahakian underlined that Artsakh valued any document that
could contribute to the establishment of a civilized dialogue in the
Azerbaijani-Karabagh conflict settlement process. In the meantime,
the Head of the State noted that the settlement process would be
impossible to make comprehensive without full-fledged participation
of the Nagorno Karabagh Republic, especially taking into consideration
that Artsakh had its view on the settlement of the conflict.

The co-chairs in their turn reaffirmed that without consent and
participation of Nagorno Karabagh and its people it would be impossible
to settle the conflict.

NKR FM Georgy Petrosian and personal representative of the OSCE
chairman-in-office Andrzej Kasprzyk partook at the talks.

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
