ArmInfo. The Declaration signed in Moscow loses its sense without
the participation of Nagornyy Karabakh, Head of oppositional Heritage
Party, MP Raffi Hovannisian told ArmInfo correspondent, Wednesday.
"We could have considered the Declaration a breakthrough in the
Karabakh peace process only in case Nagornyy Karabakh had signed
it. Unfortunately, this failed to happen",- he said. At the same
time, Hovannisian said that such approach to the Karabakh problem
is inadmissible for Heritage, and added that he wouldn’t sign the
document on such unbeneficial terms for Karabakh and Armenia.
The Declaration signed in Meindorf castle in Moscow suburbs after the
meeting of Armenian, Russian and Azerbaijani presidents in Moscow Nov
2 stipulates the settlement of the Karabakh conflict on the basis of
principles and standards of the international law and decisions and
documents adopted within these frames.
