TIGRAN SARKISYAN: HUMAN RIGHTS AND FREEDOMS SHOULD BECOME NOT UTOPIA BUT PRESSING NECESSITY FOR ARMENIAN CITIZEN

ArmInfo. , Prime Minister of Armenia Tigran Sarkisyan said yesterday
on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of adoption of the Universal
Declaration of Human Rights.

According to the prime minister, having passed a history of several
thousand years, the mankind reached a consensus regarding the
fundamental human rights only 60 years ago that is a small period
for the human history.

‘Human intellect will be the primary value in the future, that
means freedom of thinking and an opportunity to get education. A
man should be educated to live worthily. An uneducated man cannot
worthily assess the necessity of the rights and freedoms. We cannot
build a prosperous country without educated people for whom freedoms
are a conscious necessity’, T. Sarkisyan said. He emphasized that
