`RUSSIA DOES NOT PROVIDE WEAPONS TO ARMENIA,’ SAYS LAVROV
Russia rejects the rumors spread by the Azeri mass media that Russia
provides weapons to Armenia, announced the Foreign Minister of Russia
Sergey Lavrov.
`We have conducted an investigation. And the person, who has signed
documents according to Azeri mass media, has nothing to do with this
story, he has signed nothing, and no weapons have been transported to
Armenia,’ announced Foreign Minister.
According to Azeri sources, Russia provides weapons to Armenia. The
Ambassador of Russia to Azerbaijan has been called to the Foreign
Ministry to give explanations to the information.
This information has been rejected by the Ministry of Defense of
Armenia also.
