GEORGIAN POLICE DETAINS TWO ARMENIANS, SUSPECTED OF ESPIONAGE

The Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs confirms detention of
two residents of Akhaltsikh. The detained were of the Armenian
nationality. They were Gregory Misanyan and Sarkis Hakobjanyan.

The Intelligence Department carries out a criminal case on
establishment of illegal armed groups and espionage, in which the
detainees are suspected.

Armenian media have already declared illegal detention of Armenians
by Georgian police in the region of Samtskh-Dzhavahet.
