ARMENIA, ISRAEL INTERESTED IN DEEPENING MUTUALLY BENEFICIAL COOPERATION

The newly appointed Ambassador of Israel to Armenia Shemi Tzur
presented the copies of his credentials to the Foreign Minister of
Armenia, Edward Nalbandian.

Greeting the guest, Minister Nalbandian noted that Armenia is
interested in the development of mutually beneficial Armenian-Israeli
relations and expressed hope that Ambassador Tzur will have his
important contribution to the further expansion of cooperation between
the two countries.

The interlocutors attached importance to the activation of the
political dialogue between the two countries, expansion of the
contractual-legal field and deepening of trade-economic relations.

During the meeting reference was made to the parliamentary elections
held in Israel on February 10, as well as the situation in the Middle
East and the perspectives of normalization of the Armenian-Turkish
relations.
