YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 13, NOYAN TAPAN. "RA Prime Minister’s appeal to
the opposition to take part in the anti-corruption complex events
program monitoring is not serious and is evidence of political
immaturity," Arman Musinian, the Spokesperson of first RA President
Levon Ter-Petrosian, stated in his interview to the Kentron TV
company. According to him, making such a proposal under existence of 60
political prisoners, the March 1 slaughter, political terror, everyday
mass persecutions is evidence of political immaturity. Mentioning
that the opposition has never refused to conduct a dialogue with
the authorities, A. Musinian reminded opposition’s precondition,
"our political hostage friends should be immediately released, there
will be no dialogue with the authorities without it."
Arman Musinian also stated that the March 1 rally will be a rally of
a new, concluding stage. "The authorities are terrified, and today
they already visit Movement activists’ places everywhere, try to
intimidate, even to bribe them," he said adding that in the Ararat
region the activists were even brought to the police department, were
shown March 1 video recordings, which L. Ter-Petrosian’s Spokesperson
estimated as a psychological pressure.
