"THE CAUCASIAN PLATFORM WILL BECOME A PLATFORM FOR A DIALOGUE"

"We attach great importance to that initiative, as without Caucasian
security and stability there can be neither peace nor stable
development", Turkish President Abdullah Gul announced in Russia.

"There are so many so-called frozen conflicts in this part of the
planet that it would not be right to keep them "frozen" forever. All of
us testify that similar conflicts may burst all of a sudden, like the
recent incidents in the South Ossetia" the Turkish President mentioned.

"The stability and cooperation platform proposed by Turkey was
thoroughly discussed at the level of the Caucasian regional countries’
deputy foreign ministers in December of last year and in January of
this year. I hope that their work will yield concrete fruits soon,
and it will be reflected in corresponding documents", Gul added
according to Armenpress news agency.
