Minister Nalbandian Invites His Egyptian Counterpart To Armenia

MINISTER NALBANDIAN INVITES HIS EGYPTIAN COUNTERPART TO ARMENIA

The Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Egypt, Edward Nalbandian
and Ahmad Abu Al-Gheit discussed a broad range of issues related
to the development of bilateral relations in different spheres,
cooperation within international organizations. The parties noted
that the political dialogue between the two countries is on a high
level and there is a serious potential for expanding the economic
and cultural cooperation.

Edward Nalbandian underlined that Armenia intends to continue the
steps in the direction of deepening comprehensive relations with the
Arab Republic of Egypt.

The Armenian Foreign Minister said that being geographically close to
the Middle East, Armenia is greatly interested in the establishment of
peace and stability in the region. In this context Edward Nalbandian
highly appreciated the role of Egypt in the process of peaceful
resolution of problems existing in the Middle East region.

Ministers Nalbandian and Al-Gheit exchanged views on ensuring and
reinforcing security in the South Caucasus and the Middle East.

Edward Nalabndian invited Ahmad Abu Al-Gheit to pay an official visit
to Armenia.
