Baku. Elbrus Sefullayev-APA. Currencies of several countries
fell, because their economies are formed by capitals of foreign
countries. The process is observed in Armenia at present. There is not
any economic reason for decrease of the cost of manat in Azerbaijan,"
Nazim Mammadov, a member of the Parliament’s Standing Commission on
Economic Policy told APA.

The MP said that the reports that manat will decrease in Azerbaijan
are not true and it aims to distract people’s attention.

To him, people believing in the reports convert manat to dollar in
the banks.

"In such case, the cost of manat decreases artificially. People
shouldn’t believe in rumours," he said.

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
