According to Serzh Sargsyan, UAE’s experience can be useful for Armenia

YEREVAN, MARCH 6, NOYAN TAPAN. Receiving a delegation led by Foreign
Trade Minister of the United Arab Emirates Sheikha Lubna bint Khalid al
Qasimi on March 6, RA President Serzh Sargsyan emphasized Armenia’s
interest to expand partnership with UAE in various spheres and
expressed the hope that Minister’s visit in that respect will become an
additional stimulus. He considered impressive UAE’s progress and
achievements and said that though Armenia and UAE are in different
conditions, nevertheless it is interesting to study that experience,
and it can be useful for Armenia.
S. Sargsyan expressed gratitude for the assistance provided by Abu Dabi
Development Foundation to Armenia’s water economy and for Sharjah
Governor’s donation for restoration of infrastructures of Haghartsin
church complex.
According to Sheikha al Qasimi, the Armenian partners offered them a
serious package of joint programs, which will be discussed in the
future with wide UAE business circles. The Minister expressed
satisfaction that in Armenia also like in UAE much attention is paid to
education and to the human resource in general.
According to the report of the RA President’s Press Office, as spheres
having the greatest prospects the sides mentioned spheres of high
technologies, energy, agriculture, and tourism.
