Children of boarding school of Stepanakert the other day received
presents from our compatriots Olga and Artyom Poghosyans – 6 computers
corresponding to modern demands with their accessories. They have
planned to do charity for Artsakh children for a long time, and
here the wards of boarding have appeared in the focus of their
attention.The representative of Poghosyans’ family Roman Razmanov
presented the donation.

"It will be the first but not the last donation by Poghosyans. Coming
future other surprises are expected for the childfren of Stepanakert",-
said Razmanov. The director of boarding school Nonna Musaelyan
expressed her gratitude to Poghosyans’ family for their attitude.

Henceforth a computer classroom will operate in the boarding, which
will give children a chance to master well computer technology, so
quick interval to the modern world. A dream, which became a reality
Again a notable day was fixed in chronology of Mesrop Mashtots
University: the University had a monument-sculpture of the genius
Mesrop Mashtots. According to the rector of the Universiy Donara
Gabrielyan, the idea of placing the monument near the entrance of the
University was born in 1996, when the Univ ersity was founded.Today
the dream became a reality. Intellectuals, artists, students,
representatives of mass-media and public organizations assisted at
the solemn ceremony of the monument’s openning. Those who made a
speech congratulated the collective of the University, the auther
of the sculpture. The latter noted in his speech, that he had done
that work with great pleasure and is ready henceforth to sculpture
such individualities.
