OPEN ARMENIAN-TURKISH BORDER VS "ANGRY" AZERBAIJAN

"Military balance is changing in the region," says the Director of
the Armenian Center for National and International Studies Richard
Giragosian and ensures that as soon as the Armenian-Turkish closed
border is opened a new wave of change will be witnessed. "Regarding
the military issues, we feel some threats to come from Azerbaijan
and not from Turkey. After the Georgian war Armenia has a new role
and power in the region regarding the change in military balance,"
said R. Giragosian. According to the expert opened Armenian-Turkish
border is not a threat for Armenia but Azerbaijan is a real threat. The
expert says he thinks Armenian-Turkish border will be opened after
May this year.
