ArmInfo. Armenian Copper Programme [ACP] metallurgical company
increased base copper production by 6,8% – up to 1778 tons in first

ArmInfo correspondent.
The total of 433 tons of copper were produced in January 2009,
653 tons – in February and 692 tons in March. Production growth is
explained by the fact that the concentrate processing volumes rich
with copper and bought from Zangezur copper and molybdenum plant,
grew in the first quarter 2009.
Moreover, the level of getting copper from the concentrate, received
from CJSC Base Metals, functioning in Nagornyy Karabakh, has also
grown. The total production is exported in Europe. The ACP company
processed 10004 tons of copper concentrate over the first quarter
2009 against 11212 over the same period of 2008.
