U.S.-based photographer Robert Karapetyan displayed his photos
dedicated to Easter at the "G" hall of the Mass Ritual of New York. The
exhibition showcased 17 photos dedicated to the 2750th anniversary
of Erebuni-Erevan.

Robert Karapetyan was the official guest and photo reporter during
the 2790th anniversary celebrations in 2008 during which he heard
the exciting speeches of his fellow Armenians, captured the light and
shade, color and movement of Yerevan that were inframed in 35 photos.

Viewers said that the exhibition was instructive and that
schoolchildren must attend not only to view it as good art, but also
the history of the past, present and future of Armenians. They must
also understand and perceive that "capital Yerevan is the mother that
calls her children home."

During the exhibition in New York, some parts of 5th street held a
march dedicated to Easter, while the children of the St. Vardan Mother
Temple were screaming "Christ is risen from the dead" and proved to
all mankind that "it is impossible to destroy the good".

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
