Supply Of Russian Gas To Armenia To Be Suspended

SUPPLY OF RUSSIAN GAS TO ARMENIA TO BE SUSPENDED

The supply of Russian gas to Armenia will be suspended because of
the repair work on the gas main near Tbilisi.

The press service of the ArmRosgasprom Company reports that the
Georgian gas transport company not officially reported that gas supply
to Armenia will be suspended April 23 through 26. ArmRosgasprom
reports that uninterrupted gas supply will be possible due to the
gas reserves of the Abovyan underground gas storage.

The ArmRosgasprom CJSC holds a monopoly of the supply and distribution
of Russian gas in Armenia. The gas is supplies through Georgia.

The company was founded in 1997. Gapsrom’s share in the company’s
authorized capital is 80%, the RA Government’s share being 20%.
