TELETHON ‘OUR VICTORY’ TO JOIN 11 CIS CITIES

ArmInfo. The International telethon "Our Victory", organized by "Mir"
ITRC under support of CIS Interstate Humanitarian Cooperation Fund,
will connect Moscow with 11 cities of Russia and CIS on May 9: Saint
Petersburg, Brest, Tbilisi, Astana, Kishinev, Yerevan, Sevastopol,
Baku, Vladikavkaz, Dushanbe and Bishkek.
As spokesman of CIS Interstate Humanitarian Cooperation Fund Alexander
Kalugin told ArmInfo, live stand-ups will be made from the Red Square,
Sevastopol and Brest during the telethon. Representatives of all the
kinds of the Russian Armed Forces will take part in the parade in
the Moscow Red Square this year. TV audience will watch the parade
of the Black Sea Fleet seamen to be held in Sevastopol in Nakhimov
square, the ceremony of wreath laying and relief of the guard of
honour in Brest, etc. Besides "Mir" ITRC, a four-hour telethon,
which will start at 9:00 AM by Moscow time, will be broadcasted by
the leading TV channels of CIS countries. Potential audience of the
air will exceed 250 mln people.
