Goranboy. Jamshid Bakhtiyar – APA. Commanders of the sergeant of N
military unit Anar Khanbaba Hajiyev, who was captured by Armenians
in Fuzuli region of Azerbaijan in unknown conditions, refused to
meet with his parents. Hajiyev’s mother Naila Ajdar Mammadova told
APA that his commanders not only didn’t make explanations for them,
but accused Anar in abandonment of post and his mother in the hiding
him as well. "Anar was captured on May 10. His commanders phoned me
on May 11. They had no idea about my son’s fate, but they threatened
me. Someone called me last night and said that if I didn’t discover
him I will repent".

Mammadova said she left for the military unit on May 11 immediately
after she was informed about the event, but the commanders didn’t
meet with her and were satisfied only with phone call. The mother
couldn’t get information at the Goranboy Military Commissariat where
her son was called up.

Hajiyev’s parents divorced. His father Khanbaba Musa Hajiyev lives
in Rusia. Anara also lived in Russia together with his father
earlier. Then he returned home to take the military service.

Anar Khanbaba Hajiyev, 19 was called up at the Goranboy District
Military Commissariat in 2008. He was reportedly captured by the
Armenian armed forces at 9.45 on May 10. Armenian newspapers said
Anar surrendered voluntarily.
