ArmInfo. Turkey reassures Azerbaijan that it is not going to refuse
from the principle and open the border with Armenia before settlement
of the Karabakh conflict.
Such conclusion has been drawn after the two-day visit of Turkish
Premier Recep Tayyip Erdogan to Azerbaijan. Turkish and Azerbaijani
media report that Erdogan made a series of regular statements on the
Armenian- Turkish, Armenian-Azerbaijano relations and on Karabakh. As
usually, Erdogan declared that the Turkish- Armenian border will not
be open as long as the and that .
Erdogan urged the OSCE Minsk Group to exert genuine efforts to settle
the Karabakh conflict since the conflict is not in favor of ether
party. He said that while normalizing Armenia-Turkey ties, Turkey also
seeks to improve Azerbaijan-Armenia relations and informs Azerbaijan
about it every time.
