PRESIDENT SARGSYAN VISITS NAIRIT PLANT

President Serzh Sargsyan visited Nairit Chemical Plant today. The
President was accompanied by the Minister of Energy and Natural
Resources, the Minister of Emergency Situations, the Mayor of Yerevan,
other officials.

President Sargsyan walked about the site of the disaster. The leader
of the Republic was informed that works were underway to reveal the
reasons of the blast that resulted in fire. He attached importance to
revealing the reasons of the accident for excluding the reoccurrence
of such cases in the future.

President Sargsyan extended condolences to the families of the
victims and declared that serious conclusions should be drawn from
the accident. "I think this disaster must be another alarm for the
heads of other plants of the Republic," Serzh Sargsyan underlined.
